Embedded Software Engineer Intern

What you will do As a key member of the M&M Carnot production team, the employee will be responsible for accomplishing specialized software tasks to allow the completion of company projects.
We’re looking for a team player who is willing to learn, become a key contributor and help improve our production software process and quality.
This is a part-time position with a maximum of 20 hours/week.
How you will do it Responsibilities: - Develop an understanding of M&M Carnot’s software and the process in which a job is completed.
- Tool development and special projects for production control system software (C Code).
What we look for Desired Skills: - Studies in low level computer programming or a related discipline.
- Understanding of basic control system concepts such as Analog and Discrete Inputs and Outputs - Understanding and use of the C programming language and familiar with efficient coding techniques required for microprocessors.
- PC computer literate (understanding of Command Prompt & Windows operating systems).
- Knowledgeable in the use of Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, etc.
- Experience with the use of an In-Circuit Emulator for debugging of software - Good organization and time management skills.
