This is a small law firm in Daytona Beach that is specialized in Estate Planning, Tax Law, Probate and Business law.
We are looking for a candidate who has at least 2 years of prior experience working as an administrative assistant, an executive assistant, a legal secretary or a position adjacent thereto.
The ideal candidate will have experience in creating or working with systems that increased efficiency, ease and productivity in an office environment.
Responsibilities:
* Greet and welcome clients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
* Answer and "triage" calls
* Schedule appointments and maintain calendar for the Attorney
* Scan, file and organize legal documents using document management systems
* Draft Correspondence, Estate Plans and Probate Documents using the Attorney's software and templates
* Conduct internet research as requested
* Coordinate travel arrangements and logistics as requested
* Proofread documents
* Respond to emails in a courteous and timely manner
* Handle day-to-day administrative tasks
* Follow-up with clients and professionals working with the Attorney
* Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
* Contribute to the development and execution of strategies to improve efficiency and quality of systems used by the Attorney and staff

Pay: $15.
00 - $20.

* If the hours are set at 10 am to 3 pm Monday through Thursday, would you be willing to stay later for an Estate Planning signing or come in earlier, if asked and if your hours and/or pay were adjusted for the additional time?

Education:
* High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
* Microsoft Office: 5 years (Required)
* Executive administrative support: 2 years (Required)
License/Certification:
* Florida Certified Notary Public certificate? (Required)
Ability to Relocate:
* Daytona Beach, FL 32118: Relocate before starting work (Required)
