Nurse Manager

Position requires strong leadership skills and range of clinical experience applicable to our nursing team.
*Responsibilities and Duties:* * Oversee the hiring, staff development, and performance of nursing staff * Ensure the highest level of patient care and patient safety at all time * Assess the health needs of patients * Oversee infection prevention and control program * Develop and implementation of nursing policy and procedure * Communicate the needs of the patients of the facility to the physicians * Participate in court related communications regarding involuntary patients * Works as integral part of administrative team * Ability to optimize patient care by working with nursing staff.
This includes evaluating current practices, reviewing alternatives, consultations with patient care managers and providing education to staff · Ability to make decisions on where to allocate staff and resources · Develop specialized interdisciplinary treatment plans after patient examinations · Educating patients and families on how to best manage their conditions · Incorporate practices to promote staff teamwork · Ability to analyze patient data and outcomes *Required Qualifications:* Current BCLS from the American Heart Association Current valid RN license General working knowledge of TAC codes, and State Regulations *Experience:* * Nurse Management: 3 years (Required) * 3-5 years psychiatric experience * 3-5 years detox and substance use experience *Education:* * Master's (Recommended) *License:* * CPR/AED (Required) * CPI (can obtain through hospital) * Registered RN (Required) Job Type: Full-time Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Employee assistance program * Flexible spending account * Health insurance * Life insurance * Paid time off * Retirement plan * Vision insurance Work setting: * In-person Experience: * Nursing management: 1 year (Required) * psychiatric, detox or substance abuse: 1 year (Preferred) License/Certification: * CPR Certification (Required) * RN (Required) Work Location: In person
