POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a skilled and experienced ERP Systems Administrator to play a crucial role in both the implementation and ongoing maintenance of our Odoo ERP system.
This position will be responsible for ensuring that the ERP system operates efficiently, remains up-to-date, and meets the evolving needs of our organization.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system administration, troubleshooting, and cross-departmental training.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Implementation and Deployment:
Assist in the initial implementation and configuration of the Odoo ERP system.
Work closely with various departments to ensure a smooth system rollout.
System Maintenance and Updates:
Regularly monitor system performance to ensure smooth operations.
Perform routine maintenance, updates, and upgrades to the ERP system.
Ensure system security, data integrity, and backup processes.
Troubleshooting and Support:
Provide prompt resolution of issues and technical support to all departments.
Troubleshoot complex problems within the ERP system, working closely with IT and engineering teams.
Training and Documentation:
Develop and conduct training sessions for departments on using the Odoo ERP system.
Create and maintain detailed documentation of system processes and user guides.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration:
Collaborate with various departments to understand their ERP needs and challenges.
Tailor system functionalities to meet department-specific requirements.
Gather feedback to continuously improve system performance and usability
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
3 years experience in ERP system administration, preferably with Odoo.
Strong knowledge of database management and software development.
Proficient in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, XML, and VBA.
Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
